Why Environment About?
Environment About is a comprehensive and rapidly growing environmental blog which serves to spread awareness among common people about the environment, nature and its protection from mankind caused destruction. We have a large archive of informative and useful articles on environment and related issues which includes global warming, climate change, wildlife protection, components of environment, ecosystems, environmental laws, energy resources, greenhouse effect, go green ideas and lot more. We have a separate category “Environment About” which is dedicated to basic and useful knowledge about environment, ecology, earth science, ecosystems etc..
We started at http://theartofstart.blogspot.com, a service that was freely offered by blogger in 2008 and then moved to wordpress self hosted service. The old blogger blog (PR2) has been redirected to Environment About, so we have the benefit of targeted traffic from both the platforms. The traffic is targeted because most of the visitors come through search engines while searching for targeted keywords related to our niche.

Why we need sponsors and advertisers?
For our own survival and to be able to continue our work, we need support both from webmasters and advertisers to contribute to Environment About community. It is not an easy task to maintain a blog with limited resources, especially when you are growing and expenses are rising exponentially.
I have invested heavily both in time and money to raise this blog and to develop this stand alone blog into a community. I have been outlining some projects which will be initiated by Environment About for the protection of natural ecosystems and restoration of natural habitats, of course which will need initial investments. Advertisements and blog sponsorships are a way to generate money for this cause.
