With initial capital of 20 billion INR, Indian government is all set to
invest in Federal Solar Projects with the mission to reach its target of
20 gigawatts of solar energy capacity by 2020. To manage the solar
projects, India government is starting a new company, Solar Energy Corporation of India, which will also ensure that the target of exploiting solar energy is met within the stipulated time frame.
